PRE-REQUISITES AND REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRY TO COURSES

Applicants to CHBTC shall meet the following criteria as stipulated in Schedule 1 of the Standard Student Contract:

  1. Be at least 18 years old and above at the time of application. Those aged 18 and above but below 21 years must furnish proof of parental consent.

  2. Have at least obtained a GCE 'O' level certificate or equivalent, or have at least three years of work experience at the time of application.

  3. Pass an oral entrance interview.

COURSE FEES PER ACADEMIC YEAR
 
Category A: SGD$1,500* (USD1,000) for students from Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Western Europe, and North America.

Category B: SGD$1,250* (USD830) for students from all other countries.
 
Students may also pay their fees in monthly instalments of SGD$300 or SGD$250 over a 5-month period (April to August).

Please note that there is no GST charge for the fees.


Course fees are payable in the following manner:

  1. Payment should be made within the first five days of every new month.
  2. Cash payments can be submitted to any CHBTC staff.
  3. Checks should be made payable to "City Harvest Church." Remember to indicate your full name, identification number and the purpose of the payment behind your check.
  4. Official receipts will be issued the following week once payment has been made.
*Accommodation charges and additional reading materials required for the course are not included in the fees stated above.
 
 
A TYPICAL WEEK

The following information is a guide of the average week of a student. During seminars conducted by international guest speakers, there may be additional afternoon and evening sessions, which all students are required to attend.

MODES OF NOTIFICATION IN THE EVENT OF ANY CHANGES
 
Changes to any student information including weekly class schedules will be communicated via formal written notices given to students at the beginning/end of class through student group leaders and this Web site.

City Harvest Bible Training Center reserves the right to change or amend the course fees and/or course structure at any time during the academic year at its own discretion. The availability of different lecturers may result in some minor variations in the courses offered. Please also note that graduation from CHBTC does not guarantee automatic church employment within City Harvest Church.

Note: The date, 28 Oct 2008, for Deepavali needs to be checked against the Indian Almanacs when they become available towards the end of 2007. Should there be a change in date, the Ministry of Manpower will announce it towards the end of 2007.

 
GRADUATION

To graduate, a student must accumulate enough credits based on the credit system listed herewith. All students must also complete every given assignment throughout the academic year. A good attendance record is important and graduating students must ensure that full payment of the course fees is made before graduation.

A grand graduation ceremony will be held on 24 August 2008.
